Mission Statement

  The mission of the Ozark Botanical Garden is: to research,
cultivate and conserve indigenous and non-native plants
and disseminate information on their potential benefits.

We fulfill this mission through our three primary programs:

THE OZARK SEED BANK

A dynamic collection of over 300 varieties of culinary and medicinal plant seeds. Our seed vault is in Brixey, Missouri.

ONE GARDEN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

Monthly events provide a gathering place for local farmers and gardeners interested in sustainable agriculture, biodiversity and plant protection

LOCAL GROWER PROGRAM

Our newest program provides collaborative opportunities for growers preparing for changing times. Cooperation and sharing information may help us find solutions to our changing climate and agricultural economy.
